Why I started to write posts and how I think of career and life

I'd been thinking of one thing from April 2024 till mid-2025, very hard and carefully. Here's the scenario:
A good young man spent around 150% of his time and energy working on his team's projects from 2021 to 2024. He felt very tired every time he got back home from work, so 99% of his 'spare' time was used to play his phone purposelessly and drink/taste craft beers. And during weekends, he definitely wanted to find parties, to hang out or hangover with 'friends', you name it. These relaxes were not bad and actually refreshed him for a new day or a new week of new work. But a bit more than 2 years later, he left the company and suddenly found he gave his everything of these 2 years all to the company without leaving anything for himself. Is this true? And fortunately, he did not need to get back to work so soon this time and could spend his 'spare' time coding things back with his ideas, thoughts, techs, libraries, achievements and so on used when working at the company.
A more practical example is Google Chrome bookmarking. When solving different (difficult) issues and problems at the office, this young man likes to bookmark useful sites and resources on Chrome with his company account or many internal platforms could not be used. However, not all these bookmarks were company-specific but are more related to various problem solvings that are worthy of being collected and transferred to his personal account when he left the company. But he did not just because he was lazy.
There were ways to reduce the 150% effort to 100% or even 75% through better communications or so. And he could also do his work OK or even great still. But even if it was 75%, would this good young man feel less tired, find 2 days of each week and 2 hours each day after work and half a day each weekend and spend these times writing blogs of ideas and solutions, coding personal projects, looking for opportunities to run his own businesses starting from very small...?
I hope you found this is 100% not against working hard. But how do you think of career and life? That's why I started to write posts and how I think of my career and life.
